Wasps and Ladybeetles Emerge

With the warm temperatures the area experienced last week, over wintering insects have begun to emerge. As temperatures drop in the fall these pests look for hiding spots to spend the winter months. These can be found in nature or in your home or office. When temperatures warm in the spring as they did last week the insects come out of their “hibernation”. “The quick fix for these pests is to use your vacuum or shop vac and suck them up as they are seen.” says staff entomologist John L. Gedeon. “The insects pose little threat to the homeowner or office tenant.”
